For over 40 years, the Hill family has grown pumpkins and welcomed families to celebrate the fall season together. We are continuing to plant new seeds and care for the land, but this year we did not plant pumpkins and the farm stand will not be open for pumpkin picking, hayrides and fall produce. We know visiting a small family farm for pumpkin picking is a treasured tradition for many, and we’re grateful to the many generations who have come to support us over the years.

As we bring new plans and ideas to life, we are shifting our energy away from growing pumpkins. We’re not going anywhere, and look forward to welcoming you back to the land in new ways. Thanks to our family’s longstanding partnership with The Redding Land Trust, the land will always be undeveloped fields and forests, the soil is healthy and its future is assured. In the end, it is not the annual yield that counts, but respect for the wellness of the farm and its inhabitants that matters.
