We are also great advocates for a number of worthy organizations:
WPKN Listener-sponsored, community radio station has varied, independent programming. No corporate funding.
Clearwater is the replica Hudson River sloop and organization that brings awareness to the state of the Hudson River and the world. Every year on the third weekend in June there is a wonderful "Great Hudson River Revival" that celebrates the work of Clearwater and its people. DON'T miss it. We volunteer for the festival and are responsible for the banners and stage backdrops. It's the result of one of Pete Seeger's many brainstorms.
