Located in the center of Redding, Connecticut, Warrup’s Farm is a small farm operated by the Hill family.

Each year, we produce our own maple syrup, cultivate certified organic flowers and vegetables and celebrate the harvest season with pumpkin picking and hayrides.

The farm is on land once home

to Chief Warrup’s Mohawk tribe.

After Colonel John Read purchased the land from him, Colonel Read’s descendants settled on the homestead which is now Warrup’s Farm.

In the mid-1970's Bill Hill began raising vegetables and flowers and making maple syrup.

The 288 acres of fields, forest and wetlands have been forever preserved, thanks to the foresight and generosity of Bill’s parents, Sam and Betty Hill. This gesture insures that the land will never be developed.

The farm now operates around the

year with the help of Bill’s wife Laura,

his son Lincoln, and interns during the growing season. We are annually certified organic by Stellar Certification Services.

Welcome to Warrup’s Farm!
